Every Saturday, vendors at this market present a variety of South Tyrolean specialties – perfect as souvenirs from your holiday! In addition to regional products, you will also find seasonal delicacies here.

Everything is in full bloom! This event creatively combines nature and culture. Visitors can look forward to artistic flower arrangements, stylish garden decorations, and a variety of market exhibitions.

The Haflinger gallop race at the Merano racecourse is a fixed part of South Tyrolean tradition. But even off the racetrack, visitors can enjoy a colorful supporting program – from the festive parade of Haflingers through the city center to pony riding for children and the traditional “Goaslschnöllen”.

From June to August, the gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle invite you every Friday evening from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM to a atmospheric end to the week. During the Aperitivo lungo, visitors enjoy the evening with refreshing drinks, culinary delights, and live music in a unique atmosphere.

Another highlight of the summer months is the Garden Nights: Music lovers can look forward to an unforgettable concert experience in the mood-lit amphitheater around the water lily pond. At the street artist festival Asfaltart, the entire city of Merano becomes a vibrant stage: artists from all over the world captivate the audience with breathtaking acrobatics, compelling music, dance, clowning, and many other performances, creating a unique atmosphere full of creativity and joie de vivre.

During the South Tyrol Jazz Festival, the region is entirely dedicated to jazz: international top musicians grace the stage, filling it with diverse sounds, exciting improvisations, and musical passion.

Classic car enthusiasts from all over Europe gather in Schenna to share their passion for vintage vehicles – driving pleasure amidst a backdrop of palm trees and mountains.

This versatile event series offers a varied program with concerts, theater performances, fashion shows, and impressive show acts. The experience is complemented by extended opening hours of the stores until 10:00 PM.

In summer, the Thermenplatz in Meran becomes an atmospheric backdrop for captivating open-air concerts and musical evenings under the open sky.

The Merano WineFestival transforms the historic Kurhaus into a meeting place for wine lovers, where selected wines from around the world can be tasted and purchased.

In the quietest time of the year, the old town of Merano turns into an enchanting Christmas fairy tale. The enticing scent of mulled wine and cinnamon fills the air, while the festively decorated alleys shine in warm light. The traditional Christmas market along the Passer promenade captivates all visitors with its charm and atmosphere.
