Merano Saturday Market | Every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Every Saturday, vendors at this market present a variety of South Tyrolean specialties – perfect as souvenirs from your holiday! In addition to regional products, you will also find seasonal delicacies here.

Merano Flower Festival | Annually from March to May

Everything is in full bloom! This event creatively combines nature and culture. Visitors can look forward to artistic flower arrangements, stylish garden decorations, and a variety of market exhibitions.

Traditional Haflinger Gallop Race with Parade | Annually on Easter Monday

The Haflinger gallop race at the Merano racecourse is a fixed part of South Tyrolean tradition. But even off the racetrack, visitors can enjoy a colorful supporting program – from the festive parade of Haflingers through the city center to pony riding for children and the traditional “Goaslschnöllen”.

Summer Evenings in the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle

From June to August, the gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle invite you every Friday evening from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM to a atmospheric end to the week. During the Aperitivo lungo, visitors enjoy the evening with refreshing drinks, culinary delights, and live music in a unique atmosphere.

Another highlight of the summer months is the Garden Nights: Music lovers can look forward to an unforgettable concert experience in the mood-lit amphitheater around the water lily pond. The harmonious combination of nature, music, and summer evening creates special moments amidst botanical diversity.

The South Tyrol Festival Merano.Meran captivates with a diverse music program – ranging from classical to jazz and world music. Alongside the symphonic program, annual chamber music concerts take place in the Pavilion of Fleurs, a crossover series at the city theater, and performances by vocal ensembles in castles and churches around Merano.
